FINANCIAL LITERACY
We might be living in the 21st century but based on many interviews that I have given, I’ve come to understand that a lot of folks are yet to grasp the concept of success. Some see success as discovering the right career for themselves while for others, it requires making their first million.
Yet, this orientation is so wrong. What happens after you have hit your million dollars target? What happens when you have gotten the kind of job you always wanted? Do you wallow in that spot or do you move? Having goals is great but one can only be termed as successful when he possesses the right mindset required to keep achieving goals and bettering one’s self throughout his/her life.
However, there is no such thing as an overnight success. Yes, true success requires a lot of hard work and the focus of this book is to build the right habits, set objective goals and prepare us the right way for a successful living.
I have read lots of books ranging from Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki to reading Brian Tracy and Steve Covey’s books, and a host of others. I have put a lot of these lessons gained into practice and can tell you for a fact that every step listed in this book has been proven.
Times have changed and the principles which applied to the Industrial Age no longer have the kind of effect they once did for our parents and their peers. We live in the Information/Computer Age now and as a result, our approach towards life and its challenges should also change.
I can only hope that the principles that I will share with you in this book will help you adapt to all of society’s developmental changes and equally prepare you to recognize opportunities just like it did for me.
